Standardizing professional services offerings in telecommunications

Despite an abundance of skills, the professional services group of well-regarded telecommunications company was struggling with profitability and customer satisfaction issues. Global service offerings were typically not standardized, and many deals were sold with little or no oversight. ServTrans experts recommended and worked with the organization to implement—standard services offerings, a methodology for determining when custom offers were appropriate, and an effective approach to managing third-party provider relationships. As a result, the services organization regained profitability (from a -12% level) and achieved a 90% customer satisfaction rating.
